These are the terms for using Hearthquarters, kept short because this is a small family app, not a piece of software with a legal team attached.

You need an account to use the app, and you're responsible for keeping your own password to yourself. Anyone you invite into your household can see and edit the same meal plans, shopping lists, and prep tasks you can, so only invite people you actually want in your kitchen.

The recipes, meal bank, and other content in the app are here for your household's own use. Please don't scrape it, resell it, or use it to build a competing product.

We built this app for our own family and opened it up for other families to use. We do our best to keep it running, but we can't promise it will be available every minute of every day, and we're not liable if a grocery run gets missed because the app was down.

We can update these terms as the app changes. If something significant changes, we'll do our best to let current users know.
